In 1989, Mura, in its original version, won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro (Golden Compass) “for the quality of form and functionality of its complete image”. This international recognition has highlighted the aesthetic and functional qualities of one of Lamm’s flagship products. Mura, in its current evolution, is an armchair for conference rooms equipped with a "gravity" device which, when the seat is freed, allows it to flip up in a buffered manner. The unique dynamics of the seat back allow you to increase the space between rows, with considerable benefit to the users’ access. New for 2014 is a version of the chair set on beams, creating an even cleaner, more “minimal” line, in addition to being remarkably practical to install. The seat is assembled with a tubular steel frame with elastic belts, and crushproof polyurethane foam padding. The backrest’s internal structure is made from 12mm thick beech plywood.
